Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment
On 1 July 2009 the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment (DPIPWE) came into being. This new Department has been created by the amalgamation of the former Department of Primary Industries and Water with several organisational divisions of the former Department of Environment, Parks, Heritage and the Arts.
